This page lists all of the assumptions made in the two tax impact exhibits the town presested on 8/15/2023

These are also the assumptions used in the computations for the individual propery tax impact pages.

Values shown for four single family homes with the following 2023 assessed values:
  • $503,197 in 2024.

    This is listed as the 2024 average value.

    It is the 58.6th percentile, meaning 58.6% of single family homes have lower valuations. It should not be confused with the median or 50th percentile. Half of all homes have a valuation less than or equal to the median.

    According to the tax roll I have the 2024 median is $471,000. The median exemption-adjusted valuation is $457,000.
  • $750,000 in 2023.

    According to the tax roll I have in 2023 this is the 89.4th percentile valuation.
  • $1,000,000 in 2023.

    According to the tax roll I have in 2023 this is the 97.8th percentile valuation.
  • $1,125,000 in 2023.
